The scientific journal “Disaster and Crisis Psychology Problems” (Ukrainian: “Проблеми екстремальної та кризової психології”) is a peer-reviewed academic publication that disseminates the results of theoretical and empirical research conducted by Ukrainian and international scholars in the field of psychological sciences.
The aim of the journal is to promote and advance contemporary research in extreme and crisis psychology, as well as to highlight актуal scientific, theoretical, and applied issues related to psychological support of human activity under conditions of risk, stress, crisis events, and emergencies.
The journal contributes to the development of scientific discourse in the field of psychology of activity in extreme conditions, facilitates the integration of research findings into psychological practice, and supports interdisciplinary studies addressing psychological aspects of safety, resilience, and mental health recovery.

The journal covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- theoretical and applied issues in extreme psychology;
- crisis psychology and psychological response to emergencies;
- psychological aspects of professional activity of civil protection personnel;
- psychological mechanisms of adaptation and resilience under stress and threat;
- psychological rehabilitation and psychosocial support for individuals affected by crisis events;
- psychological consequences of traumatic events, disasters, and armed conflicts;
- methods and technologies of psychological intervention and support;
- research on occupational stress and burnout;
- psychological support in civil protection and the security and defense sector of Ukraine;
- interdisciplinary research at the intersection of psychology, medicine, education, and social sciences.
The Editorial Board Welcomes Manuscripts That:
- present original results of theoretical and empirical research in psychology;

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a double-blind peer review process. The editorial policy is based on the principles of academic integrity, publication ethics, and open scientific communication.
