The features of psychological rehabilitation of an individual who has suffered trauma as a result of war are determined, in comparison with medical, social and psychological rehabilitation. It is emphasized that socio-psychological interventions are not limited solely to the restoration of health, mental functions or social status. They cover a wider spectrum - they are aimed at activating the life-creating potential of the individual, restoring his ability to make independent changes, designing the future, checking and correcting these projects, and implementing them in various areas of life.

Psychological technologies are considered as holistic influences aimed at preserving and restoring personal integrity, internal balance, the ability to self-regulate, the development of self-efficacy, communicative competence and sense-making. Technologies are presented as a system of interventions implemented in the interaction of personal, instrumental, spatial and temporal dimensions.

The stages of psychological recovery are considered: preparatory, basic and supportive. For the preparatory stage, appropriate technologies are identified: strengthening motivation for personal changes, creating effective motivators and activating blind spots of attention. At the basic stage, the technologies of designing the future through life choices, testing new life projects through setting tasks, and their implementation through gradual successful practice proved to be effective.

For the supportive and at the same time preventive stage, technologies for rethinking and integrating traumatic experiences, forming a new attitude towards trauma as a resource, and creating a more ecological living environment that indirectly supports personal recovery are recommended.
