In connection with the increase in the number of natural disasters, man-made disasters, social upheavals come to the fore not only the problems of training specialists whose professional activities are directly related to extreme conditions, but also psychological problems of organizing and managing these specialists, groups and departments. , especially requires the definition, clarification and correction of the psychological readiness of managers to organize the activities of the units entrusted to them in extreme conditions, the development of new forms, approaches and methods.
Before carrying out activities in extreme conditions, heads of risk profile units must undergo professional training under a special program, which should include assessment of extreme conditions, factors that cause them, preparation for professional perception of events as objective facts of extreme reality, ability to cope with traumatic events. and negative emotional states, while effectively organizing the activities of personnel etc.
The preparation of the head to organize the activities of personnel in extreme conditions should take into account the fact that they are created by various factors due to specific features of the environment, the nature of activities, properties of information coming to the head and more. Each of these factors has a specific impact on the organization of activities and on the organizational behavior of the rescuer and the unit as a whole, due to the emerging mental stress, the features of which the head must take into account in organizing professional activities.
During the professional training of managers to organize the activities of personnel in extreme conditions, they need to form an understanding that the basis of organization and regulation of management is the whole system of mental processes, cognitive (cognitive), emotional, volitional and motivational. and affect its performance indicators, the ability to take into account the specifics of the activity, to form knowledge, skills, abilities associated with significant responsibility for its outcome, increase competence in assessing possible options for extreme situations, their nature, ways to act in them, features taking into account extreme factors.
