The article examines the activities of pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine during full-scale military operations on the territory of Ukraine. Taking into account the experience of military sappers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during peacekeeping missions, the factors of negative psychological states of the sapper's personality during his stay in the zone of military conflict are identified. It takes into account the experience of rescuers of the state emergency service of Ukraine in the ATO-zone /JFO in eastern Ukraine, which indicates the stress factors of rescuers who performed their professional tasks during military operations. The activity of rescuers during war can be defined as the performance of official duty in ultra-extreme situations associated with a direct risk to life.
The activity of pyrotechnic specialists is extreme, as they come into contact with an explosive object. In safe conditions, performing Sapper operations has a large number of stressful factors, such as a state of confusion when it is difficult to identify explosive objects, problematic withdrawal of VIO from the World War ІІ, which can lead to detonation. Such situations cause sappers to feel anxious and nervous tension, which are compensated by a significant stress of the individual. When performing activities by pyrotechnics during military operations, they are affected by additional stress factors, such as a state of uncertainty about what can happen at any time, and fear for their own lives. Based on photos and videos of the activities of pyrotechnics of the state emergency service, their activities during military operations are analyzed and the main stages of activity that are most stressful during the implementation of the mine clearance task are demined.
